THE BEREA LIONS CLUB COMMUNITY CENTER

The Berea Lions Club Community Center is conveniently located two blocks off White Horse Road, between Lily Street and Burdine Drive, and one block off Lions Club Road, at 25 Lions Club Drive, on a five acre, fenced, secure site, in Greenville County, Greenville, SC.

The Berea Lions Club Community Center is available for use by residents of the Berea Community for a nominal rental fee. The Berea Lions Club Community Center is a smoke and alcohol free environment.

THE MAIN BUILDING

The main building is a 30-foot by 80-foot masonry building with a gabled, shingled roof and a large front porch. The interior has one large 30-foot by 55-foot open room, with paneled walls and a vinyl tile floor, that can be arranged to accommodate meetings, receptions, parties, reunions, weddings and etc.

The Building is handicap accessible and there are handicap accessible rest room facilities.

There is a large separate kitchen available for light cooking and food preparation. Equipment includes one refrigerator, one electric range and oven, two gas ranges with ovens, two microwaves, one large stainless steel table for food preparation, and one set of stainless steel sinks for dishwashing. Hot water is plentiful.

Tables and chairs are available to seat up to 100 people.

Dancing is not permitted inside the main building, although dancing is permitted at the picnic shelter.

THE PICNIC SHELTER

The site includes a covered picnic shelter located below the Main Building. The shelter has a gabled, shingled roof, with three open sides, and a storage building on one end of a 21-foot by 48-foot concrete slab. There are fixed picnic tables adjacent to the shelter. There is a 21-foot by 38-foot open area under the picnic shelter cover. This is an excellent area for dancing and or eating.

THE JACK DUNCAN MEMORIAL GARDEN

Just to the front of the Main Building is the Jack Duncan Memorial Garden. The Garden is a large split rail fenced area. The area is well shaded and is excellent for outside activities during hot weather.

All Purpose Field

Above the Main Building and Garden is a large multipurpose field. The field is excellent for sporting events, games, parking and etc.
